Stella Okuzu

With over 25 years experience managing transformation teams in the financial service industry, Stella is currently the Head of Personal & Business Banking, Head of Marketing and a member of the Executive Committee of FCMB Bank (UK) Limited. Stella has both a science and humanities background with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Calabar, Nigeria and an MBA from IESE Business School University of Navarra, Spain. A certified Master Coach from the International Institute of Coaches and Mentors. Stella has vast experience in Strategy and Business Development, Financial analysis, Change management and Business Process Re-engineering,Credit risk Management, Product Development, Internal control and Team management. In Voluntary capacities, she serves on the Executive Committee of the UK Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Banking, Nigeria, is the Vice President of the UK Chapter, Women in Finance Nigeria. Former Vice President of Zonta International London, she currently mentors Oxford MBA students on their aspiring business ventures through Invest Africa/Oxford University’s mentoring scheme. Passionate about developing Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Wealth Creation especially for women she is currently a Female Entrepreneurship Doctorate Researcher at Cranfield University, United Kingdom. She is happily married to her best friend Chieme Okuzu and they currently live in leafy Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom.
